Whitman

Whitman came to me heartworm positive and from a deplorable situation. During the short time he was with me, he was recovering from the heartworm and had several scares of bleeding from the mouth, breathing issues, and heart issues. When he was finally declared cured of the heartworm, he seemed to have a period of good health for several months. He loved being brushed and could be a silly Borzoi and do the yard zoomies. He loved to eat raw apples and did a little mad stamp with his feet if I was late with his dinner. His little friend, Rilee,(a Carlin Pinscher), loved to lie in bed with him. I am thankful for our time together, but wish it had been longer. Rilee and I miss him very much. Barbara Bruce 2024
