We met her as Zabava, a skittish hunter's throw away from Russia. At almost 3 years old, she had known little to no human contact. Now known as Tasha, her name isn't the only thing to have changed. This special girl is fast learning a gentle touch, safety, security and maybe just a bit of spoiling.
"She has come a long way but still has a long way ahead of her go. She LOVES her walks, always asking for one, I take her walking between 5-6 times a day. Tasha will come to me for pets and not want me to stop, she will take food from my hand and likes me to hold her dish sometimes to eat. She is a light eater, prefers a small amount after each walk.
She wants to play but our lazy greyhounds don’t budge, lol! Her safe place is our bedroom closet. She sleeps there every night and takes her naps there, I have put a dog bed in there so she is comfy.
Tasha has both variants for DM, bald thigh syndrome and a few other things were noted. When she arrived she was pretty much bald on her chest and stomach but now has a full body of hair!"
Thank you, Kim, for giving Tasha the room and patience to learn what love is. We are so happy for this beautiful girl
